Following showings at the Royal Portrait Society in London, David has been busy fulfilling watercolour portrait commissions from London to Darlington. (value circa. £5,000)

The Northern commission being for Chris Foote-Wood (brother of Victoria Wood).

Watercolour portraiture is still relatively rare compared to Oil paintings, but it is certainly becoming more mainstream. I think in part to the popularity of the highly successful TV programme Portrait Artist of the Year! (Which David also entered).

Busy times ahead I think!

His new book “Drawing & Painting Portraits in Watercolour” was published in 2016 by www.searchpress.com

Initial discussions, commission options and photography (if required) are available to book in central Hull by Paul A Dennis at PAD Studios, 42 High Street.
